Our Vision

The Heichal Kollel has transformed the spiritual atmosphere at IDT, infusing the workplace with the sound of Torah and the presence of vibrant tefillah. Daily minyanim and consistent learning have created a true makom Torah within the company, elevating the religious environment and inspiring employees at every level. The Kollel’s presence has fostered camaraderie, purpose, and a renewed sense of connection to Torah and mitzvos, enriching both the professional and personal lives of all who work at IDT.
The Heichal Kollel serves as a vibrant source of inspiration within our Bais Medrash. Davening and learning side by side with our Chavrei HaKollel elevates the kol tefillah and kol Torah of the yeshiva, infusing the atmosphere with a palpable ruach of passion and dedication. Their presence brings life, energy, and authenticity to the yeshiva experience, offering our talmidim daily role models of true Bnei Torah—men who embody warmth, sincerity, and unwavering commitment to growth in avodas Hashem.
The Heichal Chavrei HaKollel not only inspire through example but also engage personally with the Mesivta talmidim, forming genuine and meaningful relationships. Their warmth and approachability create an inviting environment in which each talmid feels comfortable seeking guidance, asking questions, and connecting to Torah in a real and lasting way.
Each member of the Kollel devotes an hour a day to learn individually with Mesivta talmidim who benefit from added support in their learning. This transforms the Kollel into an invaluable academic and spiritual resource—an extension of the yeshiva’s commitment to help every talmid maximize his potential and find joy in limud haTorah.
Klal Yisrael requires a dedicated program that identifies, cultivates, and trains talented young rabbeim to become the mechanchim and manhigim of our future.
To address this vital need, Heichal HaTorah and the IDT Foundation have partnered to establish the Bergen County Community Kollel — an elite training program designed to prepare exceptional young talmidei chachamim for impactful careers in chinuch and educational leadership.
The Kollel is comprised of ten young married men in their mid-to-late twenties who have demonstrated outstanding ability in learning, a dynamic presence, and a genuine passion for teaching Torah. Each fellow has been carefully selected through a rigorous process to ensure the highest caliber of both lomdus and middos.

In addition, the Chavrei HaKollel deliver weekly chaburos that enrich the Mesivta’s spiritual landscape. Each chaburah reflects the unique personality, background, and kochos of its presenter, offering a wide range of topics and approaches. From Alei Shur of Rav Shlomo Wolbe and sugyos in Halacha, to Parsha B’Iyun, Pirkei Avos, Tanya, Olam HaMiddos, and explorations of mitzvos in the Sefer HaChinuch—the diversity of subjects allows each talmid to find the areas of Torah study that speak most deeply to his heart.
Through their presence, guidance, and heartfelt avodah, the members of the Heichal Kollel have become a cornerstone of the yeshiva’s success—uplifting the Bais Medrash with their ruach, strengthening the talmidim through their mentorship, and nurturing a generation of young bnei Torah inspired to follow in their path.
